VMF for Families
This year we’ve curated areas of our Mount Pleasant Street Party specifically with families in mind. Although our events have always revolved around being all ages and family friendly, we are excited to be bringing the very first Family Zone to the party! Find a multitude of interactive arts, activities, and fun for everyone provided by some of our wonderful sponsors and partners.
Opus Art Supplies
Where: Family Zone
When: 12PM - 7PM
We're excited to have Opus Art Supplies with us at the Mount Pleasant Street Party again this year! Opus provides resources for the creative individual and outlets for those looking to explore their creative side. This year, find them in the Family Zone providing mini canvas acrylic pouring and screen printing your own sketchbook. Each activity will have two sessions you can sign up for to attend!
Wesgroup
Where: Family Zone
When: 12PM - 7PM
Bring home your own handmade memories from VMF this year and visit Wesgroup’s Creative Corner to decorate your own trucker hat! When looking for Wesgroup, search out the bright blue booth!
World Vision
Where: Family Zone
When: 12PM - 7PM
World Vision's Watoto Lounge will provide the breastfeeding station and change tables for the use of families throughout the festival. While taking a break with your little one, learn more about World Vision's inspiring work around maternal and child health with the 1000 Day Journey and see unique art created in Tanzania with Vancouver artist Lauren Brevner and Tanzanian artist Sungi Mlengeya.
Other Family Zone Activities: Find the Doodle Girls for face painting and make sure to check out Cardboard City for an impressive interactive installation! Both installations generously supported by Conwest.
Beer Gardens!

Who says you can’t have family fun without a delicious beer in hand? Our four Beer Gardens are all ages and family friendly! Find different live music and art, crafts, lounging, and interactive fun at each one.
Parties within the Party!
