The Mount Pleasant Street Party is back, taking over 5th Ave, 6th Ave, Main Alley and the City Centre Artist Lodge. Come for art and music, stay for the cute hangout spots, rotating vendor markets and family friendly pop-up bars located throughout the site.

• Main Stage at the City Centre Artist Lodge

The festival's epicenter features a main stage with DJs, Drag, exciting live music, a bar, a low stim / chill zone and plenty of cute corners to sit and hang with friends. 

During festival hours, many artists at City Centre Artist Lodge will open their studios to street party attendees as part of the City Centre Open Studios. Come see the innovative re-purposing of the former City Centre Motel as low-cost artist studio spaces managed by the Narrow Group.

• The Promenade presented by Yellow Tail

6th Ave is the street party promenade, lined with enticing vendors, mouthwatering food trucks and the Yellow Tail Bar & Lounge.

• Oasis Beer Garden presented by Granville Island Brewing

Relax and unwind in the festival beer garden, a laid-back lounge offering hangout spots, games, live entertainment, and interactive activities for all ages to enjoy.

• Main Alley Connector

Connecting the Promenade, Oasis Beer Garden and Market Zone.

• Market Zone supported by Rize

The street party’s vendor village with daily rotating markets showcasing a variety of local handmade, vintage and artisan goods, plus the site of our two-day Holden Courage Graffiti Jam.

  • • Terrain: Pavement, some areas are on a slant.

    • Mobility: All zones are wheelchair friendly. The upper and lower levels of the City Centre Artist Lodge are only accessible by stairwells.

    • Restroom Facilities: Gender-free washrooms, accessible stalls and baby change tables available.

    • Seating: A variety of different types of seating including bistro tables and chairs, picnic tables and seating blocks are located around the site.

    • Public Transportation: Located along the #3 bus at 6th, a 5 minute walk from Main & Broadway B-Line or a 10 minute walk from Main Street Science World Station.

    • Parking: Parking nearby will be challenging as there’s lots of construction and street closures. It’s advised to get dropped off, Evo, Uber, Cab or take public transit.

    • Furry Friends: Animals are welcome on our site.

    • Dietary: A variety of food trucks on site will cater to many different dietary restrictions. Outside food is welcome. Non-alcoholic beverages available at all bars.

    • Sun/Heat Protection: A variety of shaded spaces can be found around the site. Keep yourself hydrated at our water bottle fill stations.

    • Lighting and Noise: Low-stim areas can be found around the site.

  • We acknowledge that this event takes place on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples – the sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.
