Strathcona Street Party Vendors

All the yes to beer, art, music, and socializing at a block party on a beautiful summer day; but we want to highly suggest that you also visit all the amazing vendors who will be selling, interacting, and being a part of the party. Find below a list and general description of what you can expect to encounter at the Strathcona Street Party’s community market!

RAYCAM RENEW
Ever played a game called Cake Walk? It’s basically a more interactive version of roulette that involves the potential of winning a slice of cake. Raycam is also putting on 3 v 3 Concrete Beach Basketball games. Cake and basketball sounds pretty awesome to us and last year they had a dunk tank so they have a good rep for fun.

We’d also like to note that Raycam’s fundraising is being applied to affordable housing and redeveloping the Raycam Community Centre.

AMY MAKERMOBILE *Great for kids!*
Create Mandala street art with Amy Makermobile! At her booth you can temporarily beautify the street by using a provided mandala stencil to make designs.

VANCOUVER PUBLIC LIBRARY
In our opinion, the quest for the next gripping read never stops. Enjoy a mini library room to relax and get your read on provided by VPL in our Community Market.

ENTERPRISING WOMEN MAKING ART
EWMA is holding an art market where the women in their association can sell and talk about their unique pieces. If you’re not interested in buying anything make sure to at least stop by and have a chat with this amazing organization!

OPUS *Great for kids!*
Opus is hosting a youth arts workshop for kids to come experiment and create with different art supplies! A great spot to let the creative mind flourish.

STRATHCONA COLLECTIVE
This booth will be featuring a network of independent businesses in Strathcona selling shirts with their own logos and designs. A fantastic way to support local establishments.

TICKLE TRUNK: CLOTHING BIZZARE
Dress up for Grown Ups is their motto (although kids are always welcome too!). Their clothing and accessories are a fun and eclectic collection curated to make heads turn. Find your newest attention grabbing piece at this vendor booth!

COMMUNITY POLICING *Great for kids!*
Arts and crafts for kids (or anyone who enjoys getting creative). It will be done with the assistance of a makermobile, which you have to see to completely understand because it’s too complicated to accurately describe here, so go!

MAKER LABS
Write a letter, enter an inflatable post office time machine, send that letter off to your future self or anyone you want to receive it. Sounds like a journey to experience.

VANCOUVER MURAL FESTIVAL
Visit VMF’s booth to get more information about the Indigenous Program, how to get involved this year, or simply chat about the exciting things we’re stoked to have at the festival this summer! We love getting feedback about what we can do next year!

NETO FRENCH LAUNDRY
Find awesome upcycled clothing made right around the corner!

TWIST PARTIES *Great for kids!*
Balloon art that is not to be underestimated. Lauren Latex is a true talent in inflatable designs.

WHITE BUFFALO BEADWORKS
Find beautiful beadworks on snapback hats by Jeska Slater. All her work is unique and handmade with bright colours and stones.
