THE STRATHCONA STREET PARTY IS BACK!

9 NEW MURALS, MUSIC, LIVE ART, FREE & FAMILY FRIENDLY
SATURDAY, JUNE 22ND, 2019, 12PM - 9PM @ Campbell St & Cordova/Hastings Street


The Strathcona Street Party returns to East Vancouver on Saturday, June 22nd to kick off the first weekend of summer! Produced by Create Vancouver Society (the team behind the Vancouver Mural Festival), this year’s event aims to further highlight the diverse mix of local businesses, community groups, and artists who make Strathcona one of the most creative, diverse and walkable neighbourhoods in Vancouver.

Celebrating its 3rd year, this free, family-friendly event spans several blocks surrounding 882 East Cordova and Campbell St and features a wide variety of activities and attractions including art, music, food trucks and family-friendly all-ages craft beer gardens by Vancouver Craft Beer Week and Strathcona Beer Company.


Centred around the creation of 9 new murals in Strathcona, the free community event features:

Community market featuring local independent businesses and artisans
Two family-friendly craft beer gardens
DJs and dancing in the Oasis Lounge by Public Disco
Family activities including kids turntable lessons by Table Tutors
Honour Roll Dance Battles by Vancouver Street Dance Festival
Mural Battles hosted by SNAG
Interactive art workshops by OPUS
Musical Playground by Publik Secrets and more.
