ARTISTS
Lisa Sahatciu: Sahati is a 17 year-old singer /songwriter and producer from Kosovo, now based in Vancouver, BC. Her musical endeavours started at the age of 6, when she started attending public music school for piano. Not long after, Sahati discovered her passion for drumming, guitar and music production. Performing at a variety of venues from a young age, she has made dozens of appearances at festivals in Europe (such as opening for Miley Cyrus at Sunny Hill Festival in 2019), and Canada, where she now continues to record new singles, and work on other projects."
Young friend: With songs that sound like the last few coveted days of summer, 21-year old Drew Tarves’ hopeful and honest perspective on the highs and lows of youth are embedded in his lyrics. Young Friend’s memorable hooks propel his bedroom pop production and give his sound an incomparable sincerity.
Haleluya Hailu: Haleluya Hailu is a young singer/songwriter who loves pasta. At the age of 17 she has spent half her life performing her own compositions. Now with the release of her EP Greetings and Salutations Haleluya is making her formal introduction as one to watch in the coming years. Raised in Burnaby, British Columbia to a family of Ethiopian immigrants, her passion for music came from her parents passing down language through sound. After beginning to take songwriting as something more of a hobby, Haleluya won her school district talent show when she was fourteen. In Early 2020 Hailu began the writing and collaboration for her freshman EP, “Greetings and Salutations''. The five song EP is a love letter to 80s nostalgia from someone who's never seen it. A project including only collaborations from Vancouver, local names such as Frederick Bantoe, Kalyan Rath and STVRK. Haleluya’s gift for storytelling takes you to the worst party ever reeling for more.
Quinn Pickering: Quinn Pickering is a young singer/songwriter part of a new generation of artists who are redefining the indie music landscape. Early in 2020, Quinn signed with the record label How Weird Sounds to release his ‘Supernova’ The five song EP produced by Howard Redekopp and Stefan Nowarre, released September 2020.
DACEY: DACEY, pronounced (DAH-SEE); is a four member band based in Vancouver, BC. Including lead singer Dacey Andrada. Dacey is a multi-genre artist with influences such as Alternative R&B, Lo-Fi Hip-Hop, Neo-Soul, Indie, and Jazz. With a wide range of various genres; Dacey makes her genre-defying mark by establishing her ability to produce progressive melodic stories fit to any mood she seeks with the crowd. The 20 year old’s hooky vibe continues to linger in the limelight as she and her band proceed to captivate the underground scene, starting right at her roots; in the heart of Vancouver BC.
STVRK: Evan "Stvrk" Jacobs is an emerging producer and songwriter currently working in Vancouver, BC. Since the release of his eclectic debut EP, RGB, Stvrk has become a known quantity in the city's underground hip-hop scene. His distinct production style and radio-ready mixing skills have made him a valuable asset to upcoming local artists. With an album on the way and a number of collaborations in the pipeline, 2021 is shaping up to be an explosive year for this young producer."
