Last Night A DJ Saved My Life is the brainchild party of three epic entities in Vancouver that are cultivating and elevating music and street dance culture: Deep From the Underground, bside.radio and Natasha Gorrie. Together, they have curated a night that will celebrate the relationship between the DJ and the dance floor. We'll kick off with a 2 vs 2 open styles dance battle (all street and club styles). Battle Winners take home a cash prize of $600. Continuing into the night will be a dance party intended to take you on a mind-bending sonic journey. Expect an electrifying dance floor with deep cuts, underground gems and eclectic mixes; everything from hip-hop, house, breaks, rare grooves, soul, funk, disco, boogie and more.

The VMF 2023 Pop-Up Art Series aims to highlight the immense talent of queer tattoo artists in so-called Vancouver and provide them with a wall as a platform to enhance their visibility and explore the versatility of their craft. We invite artists to express what their art represents, how they desire to be recognized, and explore the profound connections between art, people and spaces.
