Just a few blocks from Main and Broadway, nestled in the heart of Mount Pleasant, the Anza is a favourite meeting place for a wide range of communities. The main floor is a rental facility that is home to such long running events as Africa Dance, Celluloid Social Club and Pacific Bluegrass Heritage. We welcome all kinds of events, from private weddings and birthdays to theatre productions, live music and DJ events and more. The downstairs members lounge features a pool table and dart boards, and has often been likened to your favourite uncle’s rec room. We also host several weekly and monthly events in the lounge, such as Open Mic, Open Dex, Karaoke, Pub Quiz and more.
