Our neighbourhood is full of fantastic artists and craftspeople so we're always looking to find new ways to blend what we do with the greatness of other businesses. Tucked into an old historic brewery building, award winning Main Street Brewing has been a dear friend of ours for years and continues to brew some of our favourite craft beers in this city! As collaboration is the heart of what we do at Vancouver Mural Festival, we are so excited to be teamed up with Main Street Brewing for another year to combine art and craft beer into one beautiful (and delicious) package.
We present to you the official beer of Vancouver Mural Festival: The Citra Hefeweizen.
This is a classic German wheat beer that meets Pacific Northwest hopping techniques. The combination of banana flavour from the weizen yeast and the citrus tropical fruit aroma from the generous additions of citra hop make this beer taste almost like fruit punch! With subtle sweetness and a smooth mouthfeel from wheat malt rounding it out, this beer is a perfect harmony of old and new.
When purchasing this beer at the liquor store you’ll get six unique cans that feature murals from VMF2018, a great way to enjoy the art with your brew...and to distinguish who’s is who’s when splitting the six pack amongst friends ;)
Side note: the location of each mural is indicated on the cans, so you can take yourself on a private mural tour!
