ARTISTS

PM: P.M. is Vancouver’s non-binary dancing drag bimbo. They are a settler performing on the ancestral territory of the Coast Salish peoples–Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) First Nations. Mixing both their contemporary-ballet background and off-beat style, P.M’s goal is to continually bend gender, sexuality and showcase what it is to be a no binary moving body. PM competed and won Vancouver’s Next Drag Superstar in 2019.They are also a member of The Darlings (Drag Collective) in Vancouver B.C; a multi-disclipliary non-binary drag quartet that have performed in: The Transform Festival, PuSH Festival, Queer Arts Festival and the Queer Film Festival.

Hotmail: Hotmale Dotcom is a multifaceted androgynous performer who loves to showcase their range of emotions in their performances in the hopes that somebody out there feels something from experiencing it. Their range in music choice is unpredictable yet impressionable. They are a non-binary clown that doesn’t need you to focus on their gender expression but wants you to embrace the undefinable parts of it.

Rogue: Rogue is Vancouver’s premiere Jewish Drag Artist and a self-proclaimed Instagram sensation. After winning Entertainer of the Year in 2019, joining Bratpack: The Next Generation in 2020, Rogue has taken over Instagram and TikTok during the pandemic and is ready to retake the stage in 2021. From Queen to Carly Rae Jepsen, Eminem to Kim Petras, when Rogue hits the stage you never know what you’re going to get but you know they’ll give you a show.

Mx. Bukuru: The name is Mx. Bukuru. That’s B-U-K-U-R-U and if you don’t know what it means honey, look it up. Mx. is the Church being your momma never wanted you to meet. They are the inaugural winner of Van Slam’s Drag Slam (2019) and runner-up in the Eastside Drag Derby (2019). A member of Diasporic Dynasty, Mx. ascends colonial ideas of religion and will bring you to the sexiest Church that ever did exist. Their ass, fat, their hips, fatter, don’t fucking forget, BLACK LIVES MATTER!

Rose Butch: Rose Butch is your Premier Non-Binary Drag Thing whose style and sensibility follows the pursuit of gender euphoria. Rose flourished into the East Van drag scene in 2014 with their playful and theatrically-informed drag, which aims to bring non-binary visibility to stages across so-called Vancouver and beyond. They are a member of The Darlings, a multi-disciplinary non-binary drag collective.

The wall is re-painted annually at VMF in memory of Holden Courage, a local artist, to share joy and demonstrate the incredible skill of graffiti at VMF in the hopes of building better public understanding of this globally respected, yet often locally misunderstood art form. Holden’s family is pleased to continue his graffiti legacy through the Holden Courage Memorial Fund for artists.
