Don't miss this collaborative conversation around placemaking, as we bring together a mix of public space leaders to explore initiatives forging more meaningful connections between people and places in Vancouver and beyond. Chat with other “placemaking enthusiasts” working to shape the public realm during a pre-talk social (beginning at 4:30pm).

Placemaking is the process of shaping public space to strengthen connections between people and places. VMF takes an arts-driven approach to this, working with local creatives and neighbourhood stakeholders to collectively reimagine public space as the heart of every community.
