Vancouver Mural Festival is an annual outdoor celebration of public art designed to connect, reflect and celebrate our diverse communities through art and live events.

ACCESSIBILITY INFO

  • Vancouver Mural Festival events are FREE to enjoy (including City Centre Hub, VMF Street Party @ Granville Promenade, Talks, and self-guided mural exploration). Exceptions: Guided Mural Tours are by donation. VMF After Dark is a ticketed, 19+ event. For low barrier tickets at ticketed events, please contact [email protected].

  • Vancouver Mural Festival is an all-ages, family-friendly, inclusive event. Licensed bars are available on-site to 19+ attendees. Please note that After Dark events are 19+.

  • Paid parking is available directly behind the City Centre Hub at Easy Park Lot 105 at 123 E 6th Ave.

  • A free water bottle filling station can be found on-site by room 122 and bottled water can be purchased at the bar.

  • There is around 1,000 square feet of tents on-site for shade, as well as 25 patio umbrellas.

  • City Centre Hub venue (2111 main street) is located on a slightly sloped parking lot. The surface is painted pavement with sand added for extra grip. The entrance is located on the west corner of Main & 6th. The site is wheelchair accessible from the street.

  • Bus routes #3 #8 which stop outside of the venue. A short walk away are bus routes #99, #19, #10, #16

  • Card only (debit/credit).

  • We will have picnic tables, folding bistro chairs, wood palettes seats and lounge chairs. There will be space for wheelchairs next to seating blocks.

  • Both private and shared tables available

  • First available from the first aid and harm reduction tent located on the west side of the lot.

  • Scents are not managed however this is an open air event with no walls on tents.

  • One accessible bathroom on site. Bathrooms are all genders.

  • Service animals and people-friendly dogs on a leash are welcome on site.

  • VMF aims to create a safe space for people of all ages, genders, backgrounds, abilities, income levels and sexual orientations.

    Please be mindful of the energy you bring to this space. Drink responsibly, ask for consent, respect personal space and promote positivity.

    Harassment, rude or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.

    If you witness/experience any form of harassment or offensive behaviour while on-site, please do not hesitate to let VMF staff know.

    If there are ways that we can make your experience at the Vancouver Mural Festival more safe and comfortable we appreciate your thoughts and feedback.
