DOWNTOWN MURALS
Transforming and reimagining public space is important for Downtown Vancouver. Popular placemaking locations include Alley Oop, Ackery’s Alley, and Canvas Corridor in Eihu Lane, all beautifully showcasing the ways in which art can breathe new life into utilitarian areas of the city. The Downtown neighbourhood is also proudly home to a collection of eighteen VMF murals, five of which are part of our 2021 festival.
