MARPOLE MURALS

Marpole is one of the lesser known neighbourhoods in our VMF lineup and unbeknownst to most, is one of Vancouver’s oldest neighbourhoods possessing a rich historical past. We’ve added 2 new murals to Marpole for 2021, alongside the 3 from 2020. After taking a tour of the murals, why not soak up the sun at one of the many delicious restaurants in Marpole’s pop-up plaza located on West 67th Avenue.

Waves - Rachel Wada

“Through this mural Rachel hopes to transform, redefine and reimagine what is typically known as “Japanese” aesthetics to reflect the melting pot of not only her cultural heritage but also the culturally diverse Asian-Canadian community in the city….”
